What is ultrasound technology?

Modern medical physiotherapy has invented ultrasound waves. When properly impacted on the human body’s tissues, it will create mechanical, chemical and thermal effects. From the above basic effects, it will bring healing effects to the body, helping to reduce pain and improve medical conditions, enhancing the effectiveness of Physical Therapy treatment.

Ultrasound is a mechanical wave created by the vibrations of crystals located in the ultrasound transducer that propagate in an expanding medium. The vibrations of the ultrasound waves are spread from the tip of the transmitter to the body surface and penetrate deeper into the tissues through the contact medium (eg: Gel). The main effect will be tissue heating and microscopic massage.

Operating principle of ultrasound technology
